The University of Technology will be established in Armenia

ArmInfo. On December 28, the Armenian government approved the concept of creating the Technological University within the framework of the state program for the development of the sphere of education until 2030.

As the Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan stated, the goal is to establish an institution in Armenia that meets the international standards in accordance with the established quality criteria. The university will work on the basis of the personnel base of the existing universities in Armenia. Most importantly, as the minister pointed out, the project will not become additional financial burdens for the budget.  For its implementation, it is  planned to conduct fundraising - the collection of voluntary donations, in monetary or other form.
