In Armenia, electricity generation in January 2018 increased by 7%  per annum

ArmInfo. Electricity  production in Armenia in January 2018 amounted to 830 million kWh,  with an annual growth of 7%, against a growth of 13.6% a year  earlier.

According to the Armenian National Statistics service date, in  January 2018 by January 2017 TPPs increased electricity generation by  19.3% to 421.4 million kWh. At the same time, hydro power plants, on  the contrary, reduced the generation of electricity by 9.4% - up to  127.5 million kWh. The Armenian nuclear power plant reduced the  generation of electricity by 0.3% to 280.7 million kWh. During the  reporting period, 5.8 thousand gigajoules of thermal energy were  produced, with an annual decline of 19.4%. Wind and solar stations  produced 0.3 million kWh of electricity and 0.2 million kWh of  electricity, respectively.

Processing  power energy in Armenia in 2017 amounted to 7,762.9  million kWh, with an annual growth of 6.1%. TPPs increased  electricity generation by 11.2%, HPPs reduced generation by 3.5%,  Armenian NPP increased generation by 10%.
