ArmInfo. Minister of Agriculture Ignaty Arakelyan received the Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Tian Erlun on March 30.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture, at the beginning of the meeting, the sides noted that there is great potential in the Armenian-Chinese relations in the field of agriculture, and it is necessary to clarify possible directions of cooperation in the context of current geopolitical developments.
Touching the exhibition of wines "Pr® Wine China 2017", held in Shanghai in November 2017, Arakelyan noted that representatives of Armenian companies took part in this exhibition for the first time. The minister also proposed to promote the production of Armenian wineries in the Chinese market.
In his turn, Ambassador Tian Erlun, considered it expedient to develop cooperation in the sphere of greenhouse production. He expressed confidence that the products produced in the greenhouses of Armenia will be successful in the foreign market.
The Ambassador of China in Armenia touched upon the exhibition "China International Import Expo 2018", which will be held in Shanghai in November 2018, and suggested that representatives of Armenia participate in this important event.
