In Armenia, energy processing in January-February 2018 increased by  3.5% per annum

ArmInfo. Electricity production in Armenia in January-February 2018 amounted  to 1502.2 million kWh, with an annual growth of 3.5%, against growth  of 10.4% a year earlier. Only in February, a decline of 19% was  registered to 672.2 million kWh.

According to the Armenian National Statistical data, in  January-February 2018 to the same period of 2017.  TPPs increased  electricity generation by 7.1% to 704.4 million kWh. At the same  time, HPPs, on the contrary, reduced the generation of electricity by  1.8% - up to 531.8 million kWh. The Armenian NPP slightly increased  the generation of electricity by 5.5% - up to 265 million kWh. During  the reporting period, 12 thousand gigajoules of thermal energy were  produced, with an annual decline of 7%. Wind farms produced 0.5  million kWh of electricity during the reporting period with an annual  decline of 16.7%.

Processing  of electricity in Armenia in 2017 amounted to 7,762.9  million kWh, with an annual growth of 6.1%. TPPs increased  electricity generation by 11.2%, HPPs reduced generation by 3.5%,  Armenian NPP increased generation by 10%.
