ArmInfo. Under the chairmanship of  the Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan On April 13, a  meeting of the interdepartmental commission for evaluating program  requests for subventions was held. Minister of Territorial  Administration and Development David Lokyan presented 46 program  applications received from 33 communities for subventions, the total  cost of which is 2 billion 32 million AMD.

As reported by the press  service of the executive body, from this amount the community's  contribution is 963.1 million AMD, private sector financing - 177  million AMD, and the rest - state support. As pointed out Minister of  Territorial Administration and Development David Lokyan, the total  budget of 85 program applications submitted during the last two  meetings of the interdepartmental commission amounted to 3 billion  387 million AMD. Of these, co-financing of communities will amount to  1 billion 738 million AMD, the amount of subventions from the state  budget is 1 billion 459 million AMD, and private sector financing -  188.5 million AMD.

The applications mainly relate to repair and improvement of roads,  repair and construction of irrigation systems, as well as water  supply and sewerage systems, street lighting, construction of  kindergartens and cultural centers.

Based on the results of the discussion, only one application was not  approved from the submitted 46 program applications due to the  unsatisfactory amount of co-financing from the communities.
