ArmInfo. In Armenia, the implementation of a new state program to subsidize the acquisition of equipment for the processing of agricultural products, the construction of greenhouses and dryers. Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia Robert Makaryan stated this at the meeting held yesterday.
According to him, which the press service of the agency cites, credit resources for business entities will be provided at a rate of 4% per annum. He reminded that at present a project is being implemented to subsidize loans, the size of which ranges from 3 to 10 million drams.
According to generalized data, in the fourth quarter of 2017, under the state program of subsidizing agrocredits, 913 farms were provided with credit resources in the amount of 4241.6mln AMD, the average size of one loan was 4.65mln AMD. In 2018, it is planned to provide AMD 9.4 billion in loans to 2100 beneficiaries, of which AMD 2030.8 million will be allocated from the state budget for subsidizing interest rates.
During the meeting, issues related to property pledge, minimum loan size, targeted use of credit resources and monitoring of their effectiveness were also discussed.
