
ArmInfo. From April 22 to 25, 7 tour operators of Armenia took part in the Arab Arab Tourism Travel Market 2018 (ATM-2018) in Dubai.
According to the press service of the Armenian Economy Ministry, as a result of negotiations, Armenian tour operators managed to take part in discussions in the B2B format. Participation of Armenia in the exhibition was provided within the framework of the tourism development program 2018 with the assistance of the State Committee for Tourism of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia, with the cooperation of the Tourism Development Fund with the private sector.
According to the source, the RA Tourism Development Fund competed on the list of participants in the Speed Networking event to hold a series of meetings with foreign bloggers and journalists who are interested in various spheres of tourism, as well as the opportunity to present the tourist attraction of Armenia and raise the country's recognition on the international arena. At the same time, the Tourism Development Fund has agreed to hold a number of meetings with film companies, organizers of tourism exhibitions, sales departments of tourism exhibitions WTM, ATM, IGTM, etc., representatives of PR- agencies, a number of journalists and bloggers working in foreign journals, information companies.
According to the source, at the exhibition there were about 200 potential buyers, travel agencies, directors of companies, representatives of airlines interested in various tourist destinations. Arabian Travel Market 2018 was held from April 22 to 25 in Dubai (UAE). The exhibition is a leader in the international travel market and a global tourist event that reveals the business potential of the Middle East in the field of entry and exit for professionals in the tourism industry. In the program of the exhibition press conferences, presentations, seminars were planned. Every year at the Arabian Travel Market exhibition, the largest construction and investment companies represent their projects in the tourism industry. Last year's exhibition attracted over 39,000 visitors and attracted 2,800 exhibiting companies.
