There will be passenger helicopters in Armenia

ArmInfo. In Armenia, there will be  passenger helicopters, the press service of the General Department of  Civil Aviation (GDCA). According to the information, favorable  conditions were created in Armenia to attract investments in the  aviation sphere, create favorable conditions for servicing  helicopters at Armenian airports. As a result of the works, LLC  "Armenian Helicopters" submitted an application to GDCA for obtaining  a certificate of the company operating aircrafts.

In the near future, the citizens of the republic and tourists  visiting the country will have the opportunity to travel both in  Armenia and fly outside it by helicopters of American production  Robinson R66 and of European production AIRBUS EC130T2.

"In the next three years, the company plans to invest $ 10 million  and create new jobs." The successful implementation of the program  will increase the country's tourism potential and create new  opportunities in logistics," the aviation regulator said in a  statement. It should be reminded that to encourage the airline's  activity on April 19, the Armenian government granted it customs  privileges for import of necessary equipment.
