Currency interbank of Armenia was inactive on May 2-5, and the intra-bank market was active in ruble transactions

ArmInfo. The currency interbank  of Armenia reduced volumes from May 2 to May 5, after a decline of  14% a week earlier. In parallel with this, in the intra-bank foreign  exchange market, USD transactions and buying up of the EUR turned out  to be in decline, while EUR sales and RUR transactions emerged from a  downward trend to an upward. Exchange market since the beginning of  the year to this day is empty. As a result, the AMD against the USD  on May 2-5 continued its devaluation from 483 to 485.5 AMD/USD1,  strengthening to the EUR - from 587 to 582 AMD/EUR1, weakening to the  ruble - from 7.8 to 7.9 AMD/RUR1.
