ArmInfo. Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazian and head of WB Armenian office Sylvie Bossoutrot expressed readiness to contribute to the development of further long- term effective cooperation. This was announced during today's visit of the WB delegation to the RA Ministry of Finance.

According to the press service of the ministry, during the meeting the sides discussed current programs, prospects for development of WB cooperation with Armenia. The strategic documents "System Assessment of the Country" developed by the World Bank and the document "Affiliate Coverage of the Country", which is at the final stage, were considered. During the discussions, the sides touched upon the assistance of the World Bank in the implementation of the "Financing of Nature Conservation" initiative.

Armenia, which since 1992 is a member of the World Bank and since 1993 - the International Development Association (IDA), in total, was provided with loans and grant funds worth $ 2.3 billion.
