According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the IT sector of Armenia as of the end of 2017 reached a 13.6% growth, providing annual revenue of 269.1 billion AMD ($ 557.5 million). According to the statistical data, 80.1% of the total volume of the IT sector's revenue comes from the provision of services. Considering the final GDP for 2017, the share of the IT sector was about 5%.
Note that the Union UITE was established in 2000, by combining a number of companies to protect economic interests, stimulate the IT sphere, etc. The founders are the companies Migma, Algorithm, Link, ArmSoft, Arminco and Sedit.
