Atom Janjughazyan: During 2017, Armenia from external sources  received official grants worth more than 14.6 billion AMD

ArmInfo.During 2017, Armenia received from external sources official grants worth more than 14.6 billion AMD, of which 43% is from EU. On May 31, during the  discussion of the report on the execution of the state budget of 2017 in the Armenian parliament, Finance Minister Atom Janjughazyan said.

The minister noted that the grants amounted to 41.7% of the  originally planned amount, that is, it was attracted in general by  20.5 billion AMD less. Janjughazyan stressed that within the  framework of the budgetary support program the EU has provided about  3.7 billion AMD.

The Minister also noted that in 2017, 20 projects were implemented in  the program part of the state budget in the field of European  integration, which were to be implemented through credit. "Over the  course of the year, the number of these programs was adjusted and  amounted to 14 programs, however, the allocated funds were used only  for 9 credit programs, out of 36 billion AMD of European origin 28.9  billion AMD were used, one of the largest programs was allocated to  the Vanadzor Alaverdi road Total 8.9 billion AMD were spent on it,  another large project is the construction of a reservoir in Vedi,  financed by the French government. 13.3 billion AMD," Janjughazyan  stressed.
