ArmInfo. The Armenian Ministry of Finance will work on the drafting of the state budget, regardless of the development of the political situation. Atom Janjughazyan, head of the agency Atom Janjughazyan, told journalists on May 31, commenting on the question whether the early parliamentary elections, tentatively scheduled for autumn of this year, will affect the timely development and submission to the parliament of the draft of the country's basic economic law for 2019.
"There is a danger, of course, but in any case, we will work," Atom Janjughazyan noted, adding that in addition to the draft state budget, the government must submit a medium-term expenditure program.
A day earlier, speaking before the deputies, the minister stressed that the Armenian government will have time to prepare for the presentation of the state budget in 2019 in the format of program budgeting. According to the Minister, there is a lot of work to be done to develop budget programs and activities. "It will be difficult, but I think we will be in time," Atom Janjughazyan noted.
