ArmInfo.On June 6, a delegation of British businessmen will arrive in Yerevan to study the possibilities of participating in investment programs in the energy sector of Armenia. This was reported on May 31 during a meeting with the Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia Arthur Grigoryan, Ambassador of the United Kingdom in the Republic of Armenia Judith Farnworth.
The press service of the RA Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources reports that during the meeting the sides discussed opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation and prospects for their development. Particular attention was paid to projects in the field of renewable energy.
To note, three years ago the British company Grange Holding announced its intention to build a new thermal block in the third largest and most significant city of Armenia - Vanadzor, into which the Company was going to invest $ 400 million. However, these wishes, as Time showed, remained only a good intention.
