Artsakh government decides to deprive Karabakh-Telecom of monopolist  status

ArmInfo. The government of Artsakh (the Republic of Nagorno- Karabakh) decided to deprive Karabakh-Telecom of its monopolist status. This was stated on his  Facebook page by the head of the department of public relations of  the Artsakh government Vahram Poghosyan.

"The press conference of the state minister Araik Harutyunyan has  just finished, at which this decision was voiced," said Vahram  Poghosyan. Moreover, according to him, the state minister with  official letters addressed to the three mobile operators operating in  Armenia with an appeal to start providing communication and  telecommunication services in Artsakh.

In addition, soon the subscription fee in the republic will be  reduced by 50%, the tariff per minute of conversation will be reduced  by 20%, services for roaming - also by 20%. Until the end of the year  it is planned to create cheaper and high-quality Internet connection  in Artsakh due to investments from the company "Karabakh-Telecom" in  the amount of about 11 million euros.
