On June 6, during the meeting with the Minister of Economic Development and Investments Artsvik Minasyan, Mark Pritchard, the Trade and Investment Envoy of Great Britain stated. The press service of the Ministry reports.
According to the source, the British representative expressed readiness for cooperation with Armenia.
A. Minasyan underlined the importance of the visit of the delegation to Armenia, presented the reforms being implemented in the RA economy, the course of implementing legislative changes to stimulate investments in the country's economy.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation in infrastructure development, audit, urban development, investment, renewable energy sources, tourism and a number of other areas.
The Minister expressed the hope that the visit of British businessmen will be effective and will become the basis for a new business relationship between Armenia and Great Britain.
Officials of the department, as well as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain to Armenia Judith Farnworth attended the meeting.
