Head of Central Bank of Armenia left for St. Petersburg at XXVII  international financial congress on topic "Financial system:  sustainability for growth"

ArmInfo. The head of the Central Bank of Armenia Artur Javadyan left for St. Petersburg at the 25th International Financial Congress (IFC) on the theme "Financial system:  sustainability for growth." As the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia told ArmInfo, the congress started on June 6 and will end on June 8. Representatives of central banks and business will discuss the prospects for the development of the financial market, as well as the role of the state in this area.

The congress will discuss issues related to the impact of banking  regulation on the stability of the financial system and economic  growth, trends in economic development, modernization of banking  supervision, competition in the financial market, and the creation of  long-term institutions.

Javadyan will also take part in the meeting of the Advisory Committee  on Monetary Policy, which will be attended by the chairmen of the  central banks of the member countries of the EAEU. Along with this,  within the framework of the visit, a number of bilateral meetings  with the heads of partner structures are planned.

This year, IFC in a special presentation zone will demonstrate  financial products and services, conduct business meetings and  events. Participants will be able to familiarize themselves with the  trends in the development of the financial sector, the  recommendations of their colleagues, and learn about technological  innovations that in the coming years can change the face of the  industry.

To note, IFC is the largest professional event in the field of  finance. Within the framework of the Congress, topical problems of  the financial industry, development of regulation and supervision in  the financial market, monetary policy and issues of economic  development are discussed. Representatives of the Bank of Russia,  legislative and executive authorities, foreign regulators and  international organizations, major banks and financial companies,  professional associations of participants in the financial market, as  well as recognized international and Russian experts take part in the  events of the Congress.
