David Ananyan: In Armenia, customs clearance of cars will be carried  out on the basis of an invoice

ArmInfo. On the instructions of the head of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, the customs clearance of cars at the price of the invoice will be considered priority.  The  chairman of the Committee of State Revenues of Armenia David Ananyan  stated responding to the question of ArmInfo on June 8.

As Ananyan pointed out, cars imported into the country will be  registered at the actual cost of their acquisition and on the basis  of a trustworthy invoice. Another method of registration will be  applied only if the accompanying documents do not inspire confidence.

David Ananian urged importers of cars after customs clearance during  the post-clearance clearance process to clarify the authenticity of  these documents. "Thus, the Committee will not obstruct the customs  clearance of vehicles on the basis of the invoice, and already at the  stage of implementing post-customs procedures will try to verify the  reliability of the invoice or documents of actual acquisition," David  Ananyan explained.

For many years, business and ordinary citizens are trying to ensure  that the customs authorities, without excessive niggles and delays,  take as a basis for registration the invoices presented. But the  practice of control prices has been in force since the 1990s, when  the state "squeezed" the maximum amount from importers to replenish  the budget.
