Minister of Agriculture held a meeting with those responsible in the  regional administrations for agriculture

ArmInfo. Minister of  Agriculture Artur Khachatryan met with responsible for the  agriculture in the regional administrations to familiarize themselves  with current work and existing problems.

According to the press service of the department, the participants  discussed issues related to the results of the spring works, the  process of preparation for the autumn sowing, the improvement of the  quality of agricultural land, the increase in sown areas, the  effective organization of harvesting of agricultural raw materials  and price regulation. Speaking about veterinary medicine, the  interlocutors stressed the importance of forming the institute of  veterinarians and improving the quality of the services they provide.

According to the source, those responsible for agriculture presented  a number of proposals to the Minister regarding state assistance  programs for the laying of intensive gardens, installation of  anti-hail nets and drip irrigation systems. At the same time, they  expressed hope that improvement of the conditions of these programs  will help ease the credit burden of borrowers and increase the number  of program beneficiaries.
