According to the press service of the RA government, the Prime Minister was also informed that there are a number of foreign companies that submitted applications for the deployment of their activities in FEZ "Meghri". According to the responsible persons, a problem arose in the zone to expand its areas, in connection with which relevant negotiations are conducted. It is expected that the FEZ created on the border with Iran in terms of geographic location, trade and logistics opportunities can become a bridge between Iran, the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union.
Then the RA Prime Minister visited the Meghri customs post in Syunik region. Responsible persons presented the work of the customs point and the services provided to Nikol Pashinyan. It was reported that the customs station works around the clock, the transition of citizens and legal entities is carried out in a short time. The Prime Minister noted a number of problems at the customs, urging them to be eliminated as soon as possible. He talked with the citizens who passed the customs clearance procedure, inquired about the existing problems. They noted with satisfaction the high level of services provided, noting that the terms of customs clearance have significantly decreased.
