ArmInfo. In order to stimulate the manufacturing industry, the government will soon submit a program that will offer processing enterprises favorable conditions for the purchase of leasing of agricultural equipment necessary for agroproduction.
Minister of Agriculture Artur Khachatryan informed during the meeting with the delegation of the International Trade Center (ITC), which included the ITC program coordinator in Armenia Adelaida Baghdasaryan, Director of ITC Division of Country Programme Ashish Shah and the ITC Office in Eastern Europe and Central Asia Trade Assitance officer Silva Yerdzhkyan.
As the press service of the Ministry reports, the parties met to discuss the "Ready for Trade" program launched by ITC in the framework of the EU4business initiative, which aims to stimulate export-oriented SMEs of Armenia and the Eastern Partnership countries with the aim of entering the markets of the EU countries.
The Minister expressed confidence that the program will be successful. "We are glad to cooperate, because in a lot of issues our views coicnide," he stressed.
According to the source, 20 representatives of SMEs, producers of canned goods, dried fruits and teas, take part in the program "Ready for trade".
