ArmInfo. The Investigation Department of the State Revenue Committee of Armeni has instituted criminal proceedings on the facts of non-payment of taxes by companies belonging to CJSC Gazprom Armenia.
As the press service of the Committee informs, on the basis of instructions by the head of the department as a result of studies in Avotgaz OOO, Avtostop, GAOM Group, Gas Group, Arzni Gaz, Fakel Gaz and Nakhshin, owned by Gazprom Armenia CJSC it turned out that these companies in their declarations in 2016-2018 mentioned less volumes of gas sales than they actually had, as a result of which they avoided paying taxes to the state treasury in the amount of 58.700.000, 14.900.000, 168.400.000, 79.400.000, 53.000.000, 25.700.000, 349.500.000 AMD respectively.
Based on the abovementioned, criminal cases were opened n the Investigation Department of the State Revenue Committee on the grounds of part 1 and 2 of the Article 205 (evasion of payment of taxes, duties or other mandatory payments) of the RA Criminal Code. A number of investigative and procedural actions were carried out within the framework of the case, including a search and an inspection. On July 10, 2018, Committee officers conducted searches at the gas stations of these companies, where the accounting documentation on the case, computers, video recorders, etc. were found.
