ArmInfo. Spayka LLC concealed a real turnover from the Armenian tax authorities, as a result of which the state budget of Armenia failed to receive taxes in the amount of AMD 2 billion.
As SRC reported, on July 9 2018, from the Tax Inspectorate of large and medium taxpayers of SRC, the Investigation Department received the results of a preliminary study in Spayka on violations in the period 2015-2018 and unaccounted tax liabilities.
On the basis of a report in the Investigative Department of the RA SRC, materials on articles 180-181 of the RA Criminal Code have been prepared. Received factual data that the company "Spayka" from January 1, 2015 to April 30, 2018 exported 61.084.701 kg of tomatoes in amount of 18.671,808.672 AMD to the countries of the EAEU, mainly to Russia. At a minimum, the sale of 44,912,368 kg of tomatoes by company officials were submitted at unreliable prices: 1 kg of tomato was declared at a price of from 105.28 to 373.43 AMD, while at that time the price, both in Armenia and in Russia, was much higher.
As a result, in calculating the profit tax of the resident, submitted to the tax authority for 2015- 2017, the company, concealed the turnover, at least, in the amount of 10,226,412,296 AMD. As a result, a smaller amount of profit tax was charged for the reporting period, and 2,045,282,459 AMD was not paid to the state budget. On July 13, 2018, the Criminal Investigation Department of Armenia instituted criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 205 of the RA Criminal Code.
Earlier, on July 3, ArmInfo informed that on the basis of the decision of the Yerevan general court, on July 3, the officers of the Office for Detection of Offenses and Administrative Proceedings, as well as the Office of the Operative Investigation Department and the Office for Combating Organized Crime, conducted joint search on the territory of LLC "Spayka". It should be noted that according to rumors, Spayka, the largest transport company in Armenia, which also deals with purchases and production of canned agricultural products, is associated with RA former President Robert Kocharyan and the son-in-law of the 3rd President Mikael Minasyan.
