VTB Bank (Armenia) launches IntelExpress money transfer system 

ArmInfo. From now on customers  of VTB Bank (Armenia) will again be able to send and receive money  transfers using the services of the international IntelExpress  system.

As the press service of the Bank reports, the system has a  number of advantages, including speed - the transfer amount will be  available to the recipient within 10-15 minutes, transfers can be  made in drams, dollars, euros and rubles. The system provides high  reliability and low tariffs for customers - commission fee will be  1-2%, transfers are available at any service point of the  IntelExpress system, and there are 80 of them in 44 countries of the  world.

For a more convenient use, VTB Bank (Armenia) offers to use the  service of charging a transfer to a card by one call to the  information center of the Bank by 8787 number, providing personal  information and information necessary for the transfer. "The system  creates additional convenience for the transfer recipient, as there  is no need to visit the Bank. Money transfer will be transferred to  the recipient's card in currency preferred by client and can be  obtained in cash through ATM", the source informs. 

For those clients who receive regular money transfers, the Bank  offers a special MasterCard Standard - VTB Transfer card, which, in  addition to the above advantages, provides customers with the  opportunity to receive a credit line on favorable terms and offers  favorable conditions for currency conversion.

According to the 16th issue of the analytical review "Armenian Banks   in Card Business" prepared by ArmInfo, VTB Bank (Armenia) holds  the  leading position in terms of the number of active cards, both   general and MasterCard and Visa, as well as the volume of plastic   transactions. Thus, on October 1, 2017, the Bank had almost 334   thousand cards, of which over 181 thousand are MasterCard and about   153 thousand are Visa. For 9 months of 2017, the volume of plastic   transactions on VTB Bank (Armenia) cards was 181.2 billion drams, of  which about 93% or 167.2 billion are ATM transactions. The Bank   managed to increase the volume of plastic transactions by 13.5%  y-o-y, and ATM transactions by 14%.  Until 2013, VTB Bank  (Armenia)  issued and serviced only international VISA cards, and  since  September of that year, becoming a full member of the  international  payment system MasterCard Worldwide, started issuing  and servicing  Cirrus / Maestro and MasterCard cards, along with servicing and local  ArCa cards.  VTB Bank (Armenia) has its own  processing.
