ArmInfo. Revenues of communication sphere of Armenia in the first half of 2018 amounted to 70.6 billion drams, an increase of 0.3% in annual terms, against a decline of 6.7% a year earlier. According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the telecommunications sector accounted for the lion's share from the total volume of revenues received - 94.1% or 66.5 billion drams, with annual growth of 0.9% (against the decline of 7.7% a year earlier).
According to statistical data, only for June 2018 the total revenue of the communication sector was 12.2 billion drams, an increase of 1%. At the same time, the telecommunications sector provided revenue of 11.4 billion drams for June, with annual growth of 1.2%.
As a comparison, we note that in the first half of 2017, the revenue of Armenia's communication sector made up 70.2 billion drams. Of this volume, 65.9 billion drams fell on the telecommunications sector.
