Over past two months, Committee of State Revenues of Armenia  identified 44 cases of violation of customs regulations

Over the past two  months, the Department of Combating the Smuggling of the State  Revenue Committee of Armenia has identified 44 cases of violation of  customs rules, of which 22 are related to smuggling of narcotic and  psychotropic substances, and 22 are customs offenses. This was  reported by the press service of the SRC.

According to the source, 18 cases of attempts to import narcotic and  psychotropic substances into the republic were detected in postal  parcels, and the remaining 4 cases were directly from citizens  crossing the border or from persons accompanying them. In particular,  2 kg of opium, 181 tablets containing psychotropic substances, 11  blots with the content of the drug "LSD", 31 mouthpieces for  electronic cigarettes containing hashish oil, sweets containing the  elements of the drugs "cannabis" and " marijuana".

Over the past two months, 12 cases of violation of customs rules were  noted, which mainly concerned the improper execution of declarations,  undeclared goods and attempts to conceal goods. In particular, we are  talking about attempts to smuggle 118 cellular phones, 354  accessories to them, 5 kg of various names of medicines, 4.4 kg -  gold and silver products, 43 kg of live crayfish.

10 cases of violations of customs rules were identified in joint work  with the RA Police.
