ArmInfo. On August 22, during a meeting with the Member of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission for Economic and Financial Policy, Timur Zhaksylykov, the Head of the Armenian State Revenue Committee, David Ananian, discussed the possibility of using a simplified mechanism for zeroing VAT on cross-border trade in the EAEC area. This is stated in the official report of Armenian SRC.
In this regard, the head of the Committee D. Ananyan noted that the entrepreneurs of Armenia are already working in this order. "There is an opportunity to introduce simpler and more effective mechanisms within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union," he stressed.
According to the source, for this purpose, within the framework of the implementation of the digital agenda of the EAEC, Armenia presented the initiative "Implementation of electronic accompanying documents and their mutual recognition within the framework of the Unified Energy System", within the framework of which it is envisaged to conduct scientific research at this stage.
This initiative will make it possible to change the paper version of the templates of the documents being written out and update the outdated process. As a result, the number of documents provided by the exporter will be reduced and there will be no need to present them to several authorized bodies. "This, in turn, will lead to a reduction in the level of the shadow economy and simplification of entry into the markets of the EAEC countries," the report reads.
