The Government discussed the issues of targeted state support for the agricultural sector

According to the source, the Minister of Agriculture Artur Khachatryan presented a draft program to provide direct assistance to certain categories of farmers. The implementation of a dense project is envisaged in the period of autumn crops. The minister noted that it is about 2700 hectares, and it is expected that the state support will be about 185 million drams. The main objective of the project is to increase the level of targeted use of arable land, increase grain reserves and mitigate territorial imbalance.

In turn, the Prime Minister stressed that the government is implementing steps to support the agricultural sector and improve the effectiveness of the assistance provided.
