According to the press service of the ministry, the minister was  informed that the Ijevan Wine and Brandy Factory is already buying  grapes for the third day. Director of the enterprise Artak Paronyan  informed that last year 700 tons of grapes were harvested, and this  year the company is ready to purchase the product in unlimited  quantity at a price of 140-190 drams per kilogram. Money will be paid  on the spot and without delay.

Ijevan wine and cognac factory also produces canned goods, which are  sold both on the domestic market and exported.

Responsible for the sphere of the person assured the minister that in  total in the region will be harvested 1 thousand tons of grapes, and  throughout the republic - up to 5 thousand tons.

A resident of the Aigeovit community, Mkhitar Shahparyan, said that  this year he intends to sell 2.5 tons of grapes at a price of 145  drams against 130 drams last year. Anti-hail systems in farms of the  farmer are not used yet, since the areas of the vineyards are small,  and calculations on the efficiency of the networks have not yet been  made.

In the course of the meeting held at the meeting, the minister  presented in detail the decision taken at the previous meeting of the  government, according to which farmers of 27 border communities of  Tavush region will receive state support for spring field work. In  particular, individuals and legal entities will receive 60,000 drams  to carry out works on an area of up to 7 hectares. The meeting also  discussed the introduction of the institute of veterinarians, their  activities, as well as providing them with advisory assistance. The  Minister emphasized the importance of providing highly qualified  advisory assistance, adding that the structures of the Agricultural  Development Fund should do a great job in this direction.
