The message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation at the opening ceremony was read out by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the RA Sergey Kopyrkin.
The appeal of Lavrov says that over the long years of fruitful activity, the exhibition has become a popular platform for the exchange of experience and best practices, the establishment of mutually beneficial contacts between the business circles of Armenia and Russia. "This business meeting is a useful addition to the general efforts to build up bilateral practical cooperation," Lavrov stressed.
The minister also noted that Russian-Armenian relations, based on centuries-old traditions of friendship, mutual respect and trust, are allied in nature and continue to develop progressively in various areas. "Their further strengthening is promoted by the energetic interaction of our states within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union," the message of Lavrov says.
To note, EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA exhibition is held in Armenia for the eighth time with the support of the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Embassy and the Trade Representation of Russia in Armenia, ministries and departments of Armenia.
The event is attended by representatives of industrial enterprises, scientific and educational organizations in the field of energy, engineering, metallurgy, automobile industry, mining, construction, transport, telecommunications, agriculture, medicine, education, etc. from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia.
An extensive business program has been developed for the participants, which includes presentations, round tables directly at the ministries of the Republic of Armenia on energy and mining, transport and communications, agriculture, medicine, science and education with the participation of heads of departments and main divisions. On the margins of the exhibition will be an exchange of contacts in B2B format.
