According to the press service of the Ministry, during the meeting the sides discussed the development of Armenian-French relations in the field of agriculture. In particular, the parties touched upon a number of issues related to the grant program "On the development of irrigated agriculture in the Ararat and Armavir regions of Armenia".Gegham Gevorkian noted that the implementation of the program is of great importance for the development of agriculture in Armenia, and the ministry will make every effort to sign an agreement and launch the project in a timely manner.Within the framework of this program, it is planned to issue a grant in the amount of 10 million euros to Armenia, which will be used to introduce drip irrigation systems and consulting services in the Ararat and Armavir regions of Armenia.
