ArmInfo. September 24, Yerevan will host the "International Compliance" Corporacion America Airports 2019 forum.
According to the press service of the company, RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, General Manager of Armenia's International Airports CJSC Marcelo Wende, Director of Corporation America Airports for Compliance and Internal Audit Gustavo Nikoghosyan will speak at the opening of the forum. Speakers representing the public sector will be RA Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan and RA Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Hovnanyan.
The forum will bring together more than 120 participants from Argentina, USA, Germany, Spain, Kazakhstan, Russia, Georgia.
It should be noted that the Corporation America Airlines company unites more than 30 airports in Latin America and in a number of other countries of the world. Headed by Argentinean billionaire of Armenian descent Eduardo Eurnekian, the company is a concessionaire for two airports in Armenia - Yerevan "Zvartnots" and Gyumri "Shirak", which are managed by "Armenia International Airports" CJSC. According to the master plan for 2018-2022, the company will invest $ 38.2 million in the modernization of both airports.
To recall, in December 2001, the Armenian government signed with the Argentine company, Corporation America, owned by Eduardo Eurnekian, on concession management of Zvartnots airport for a period of 30 years. Later, a similar agreement was signed with regard to the Shirak airport. As of today, the total investment in the modernization of two airports, according to the company, exceeded $ 160 million.
