ArmInfo. Armenian ANITEX LLC invests 2.8 billion drams in production expansion.
At a meeting on January 9, the Armenian government approved a draft decision, according to which the company will receive tax benefits in the form of exemption from customs duties for imported equipment and raw materials.
As Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan noted in his speech, in July last year, the company, which is engaged in the production of textiles in the Ararat region of the republic, has already been granted tax benefits. The total investment in the development of production will be 11.5 billion drams, which will allow adding an additional 200 new jobs in the current 44 jobs with an average salary of 190 thousand drams. In 2019, the company paid 690 million drams to the state budget of the country.
To recall, in April last year, ANITEX LLC was also granted a 3-year deferral of payment of VAT on imported goods. As part of the investment program, the company plans to start manufacturing textiles in the city of Artashat. The company will direct about 8.6 billion drams to purchase raw materials. As a result of the implementation of the program, 200 jobs will be created with an average monthly salary of 189 thousand drams.
