ArmInfo. Today, Armenia is ready for any development of events, and the state can fully ensure the self-sufficiency and sovereign activity of the energy system. This was stated during the discussions in the RA Government related to the energy security of Armenia, which were chaired by the RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan.
According to the government's official statement, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of discussing and understanding all the risks and threats that may arise for the energy system of Armenia in connection with possible challenges in the region.
The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures and other departments presented possible scenarios for the development of events, for each of which the necessary steps by the state and the sequence of actions were outlined.
During the meeting, participants also discussed issues related to energy self-sufficiency, increasing the level of reliability of electricity supplies, introducing new infrastructures, and ensuring a stable electricity network.
