ArmInfo. In the 11 months of 2019, the metallurgical industry of Armenia increased production by 21.4% per annum, against a 22.6% decline for the same period of 2018. This is evidenced by the data of the Statistical Committee of RA.
In January-November 2019, ferromolybdenum production increased by 8.3% compared to the same period of the previous year, amounting to 7 111 tons. In November alone, 736 tons of ferromolybdenum were produced, which is 1.4% less than the October volume.
The production of copper concentrate increased in January-November by 24% per annum - up to 361.7 thousand tons, and in November alone the volume amounted to 40.2 thousand tons, with a monthly decline of 1%.
Molybdenum concentrate production in January-November 2019 increased by 27.8% per annum - up to 13 046 tons, and only in November a decline of 12.6% was recorded - up to 956.1 tons.
The production of zinc concentrate decreased in January-November by 0.5% per annum - up to 10 059 tons, of which 894 tons fell in November with a monthly increase of 4.7%.
The production of aluminum foil in January-November amounted to 28 539 tons with a y-o-y growth of 6.8%, and only in November the volume increased by 11.9% - up to 2.800 tons.
Production of steel pipes increased in January-November by 7.3% per annum - up to 10 355.8 tons, and in November alone - by 11% to 1048 tons.
All metals produced in Armenia are mainly exported to Europe and the USA.
