Armenia increased production of all alcoholic beverages in  January-November 2019

In January-November 2019, Armenia increased the production of all alcoholic beverages produced in the country, in particular brandy, wine (including  sparkling wine), beer, vodka and whiskey. Whereas a year earlier over  the same period, production growth was registered only in the  production of brandy and beer.

According to the data of the Statistical Committee of the Republic of  Armenia, 39.3 million liters brandy, which is 40.9% more than a year  ago. The volume of wine produced in Armenia increased by 38.5% to  11.1 million liters, including sparkling wine (champagne) - by 33.6%  to 667.7 thousand liters. The production of vodka, liquor and other  alcoholic beverages increased by 34.9% to 5.1 million liters, and  beer - by 11.5% to 24.8 million liters.

According to statistical data, during the reporting period 685.4  thousand liters whiskey were produced in Armenia, which is only 1.1%  higher than the previous year.
