ArmInfo.Revenues of the communication field of Armenia in January-November 2019 amounted to 134.3 billion drams, having increased in y-o-y terms by 0.9% (against growth by 0.8% a year earlier). According to the RA Statistical Committee, the telecommunications segment, which dominates the communications sector (90.2%), provided revenue of 121.1 billion drams, having reduced it by 2.6% per annum (against the growth by 0.5% a year earlier).
According to statistical data, in November 2019 alone the total revenue of the communications sector decreased by 1.7% to 12.3 billion drams. The telecommunications segment provided revenue of 10.9 billion drams in November, having decreased by 3.1% over the month.
In November 2019 versus November 2018, the revenue of the communications sector showed a decline of 0.9%, while the revenue of the telecommunications segment decreased by 2.7%.
To note for comparison that in January-November 2018 revenues of the communications sector of Armenia amounted to 133.2 billion drams, of which 124.6 billion drams accounted for the telecommunications segment.
