German Siemens and ATOM (Advanced Tomorrow) presidential initiative  can begin fruitful cooperation

ArmInfo. President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian held a number of meetings within the framework of the World Economic Forum in Davos, including with  the members of the Board of Directors of Siemens Roland Bush and  Cedrik Neike.

According to the press service of the President of Armenia, the  interlocutors discussed the possibility of cooperation in terms of  attracting Siemens advanced technologies to Armenia. President Armen  Sarkissian and members of the Board of Directors of Siemens touched  upon, in particular, the possibilities of cooperation within the  framework of the ATOM (Advanced Tomorrow) presidential initiative  aimed at the development of technologies and science in Armenia in  the areas of artificial intelligence, mathematical modeling, digital  data management and other scientific technological areas. They agreed  that in these areas, Siemens and the ATOM program could successfully  cooperate. It should be noted that the Siemens representative office  has been working in Armenia for many years, fulfilling large orders  in the field of energy technologies and equipment supplies.

Within the framework of the Forum, Armen Sarkissian also met with  Apple CEO Tim Cook. Armenian President and Apple CEO exchanged ideas  on possible cooperation in the field of innovation, as well as in the  field of information and digital technologies.
