Export of Belarusian agricultural products to Armenia amounted to 50%

ArmInfo. Export of Belarusian agricultural products to Armenia excluding exports to the Russian Federation amounted to 50%. The head of the main department  of foreign economic activity of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food  of the Republic of Belarus Alexei Bogdanov said according to the  information of the publication "Belarus Today".

According to him, this year the agricultural sector of Belarus on  food exports ensured $ 5.5 billion of revenue. It is planned in 2020  to increase agricultural exports by 4.2% compared to last year and  deliver goods amounting to $ 5.7 billion.

The leading supply region is the CIS countries. Traditionally, the  Russian market has the largest share.  This year it earned $ 4.3  billion on it, however, its share in total exports decreased by 1.2%.  Exports to the CIS countries excluding the Russian Federation grew by  11%. The leaders are Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Deliveries to Azerbaijan  increased by 30%, by 47% - to Ukraine, by 42% - to Moldova, by 2.5% -  to Tajikistan, and 2.1-fold- to Uzbekistan.
