ArmInfo.President of Russia Vladimir Putin introduced a protocol to the State Duma for ratification amending the agreement on the EAEU, providing for the consolidation of new standards for the distribution of import customs duties between the budgets of the member states of the Union, TASS reports.
According to the protocol, the norms for the distribution of import customs duties are established from January 1, 2020 in the following amounts: Armenia - 1.220%, Belarus - 4.860%, Kazakhstan - 6.955%, Kyrgyzstan - 1.900%, Russia - 85.065%.
As previously reported by the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission, thus, the share of the Russian Federation in the distribution of import duties in the EAEU will decrease in 2020 by 0.2 percentage points - from the current 85.265% to 85.065%. In addition to Russia, by 0.1 percentage points the share of Kazakhstan decreased. At the same time, the share of Belarus increased by 0.3 percentage points. In addition, the President submitted to the State Duma for ratification another protocol amending the agreement on the EAEU, taking into account the norms of the Customs Code of the Union regarding the possibility of offsetting advance payments to pay import customs, special, anti-dumping and countervailing duties.
