In this situation, the Central Bank of Armenia called on commercial banks and credit organizations to take an individual approach to the loan obligations of borrowers (for example, in the hotel, restaurant, transport, and entertainment sectors), communicating via mutually agreed communication systems to avoid undesirable consequences.
In addition, CBA urges banks and credit organizations operating in the territory of the Republic of Armenia, at their discretion, to provided long-term working conditions for their employees in the risk zone (over 60 years of age, pregnant women and persons with chronic diseases) within the framework of the measures for prevention of Coronavirus.
