Business: Volume of online food trade increased by 50% in Armenia

ArmInfo. In Armenia the volume of online food, vegetables and fruits trade increased by 50%. This was stated during the meeting of Minister of High Technology Industry  of Armenia Hakob Arshakyan with representatives of a dozen companies  specializing in online trading.

According to the press service of the ministry, during the  conversation, the interlocutors discussed the growth dynamics of  online trading in an emergency situation in the country, which arose  as a result of the problem and ways to solve them. 

In particular, it was stated that companies with available resources  can fully service the received orders, in certain cases even in the  regions of the country, and in addition are ready to increase their  volumes.  At the same time, company representatives raised the issue  of the need to introduce modern electronic systems of taxation and  site localization, presenting proposals in these areas.  

The interlocutors also discussed the prospects of cooperation with  "Haypost" CJSC in particular, the possibility of making deliveries  through the use of the company's regional network in these processes.  

The meeting participants expressed their readiness to join forces in  the current situation in the country in order to provide the most  comfortable services through online trading.
