ArmInfo. Despite the pandemic of coronavirus, all construction projects in Armenia remain valid. Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan announced this on April 9 during a government meeting.
According to him, the state must fulfill its obligations on construction work begun in 2018 and completed in 2019.
4.1 billion drams were allocated from the state budget for the implementation of these projects, of which 3.7 billion drams were used to pay for the work performed, as well as to carry out technical author control over incomplete construction projects. Another 73.9 million drams were allocated for design and geodetic works, and 353.4 million drams - for modernization of vehicles. For a number of programs in late 2019 - early 2020 acts on the acceptance of completed projects have been drawn up, and now, according to contracts with contractors, the state is obligated to pay the remaining 5% of the total amount of programs. To note, the government approved this proposal.
