Beeline commented on the situation around the dismissal of Ucom  employees

ArmInfo. There was no deal to sell Beeline. ArmInfo was informed about this in the press service of the company.

In particular, it was noted that Beeline works in a completely normal  mode. The company continues to invest, build, serve customers and  release new products. "What is going on at Ucom would be more correct  to ask them and their shareholders," the Beeline press service  emphasized.

Note that on the eve of the media there was information about the  dismissal of about 50 Ucom employees, including senior staff. The  message explains that the reason for the dismissal was the reluctance  of the latter to see the head of the company Andrei Pyatakhin,  currently managing Beeline.

Recall that the Beon Armenia company, which owns the Beeline brand,  officially announced negotiations with the Armenian company Ucom on  the sale of its business in the republic on its website. At the end  of December last year, it became known that Beeline in Armenia  applied to the Public Services Regulatory Commission in order to  obtain permission to sell its shares to Ucom. "These discussions can  either end in a sale or not. In accordance with regulatory  requirements, VEON will provide updated information if any," the  message said. "BEON Armenia" CJSC (Beeline trademark) provides fixed  and mobile communication services. Since April 2007, 100% of the  shares of BEON Armenia CJSC (formerly ArmenTel CJSC) belong to the  Veon group of companies, which is one of the world's largest  integrated telecom operators.
