Pashinyan: Anti-crisis programs should be aimed at economic growth

ArmInfo.On April 10, under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, a regular meeting on anti-crisis measures was held in the  government to neutralize the consequences of the coronavirus. This  was reported by the press service of the government.

The Prime Minister was informed about the implementation of already  approved social programs. Within the framework of the 7th event, the  provision of the stipulated financial assistance has already begun,  the lists of beneficiaries of the 8th event are at the stage of final  clarification, the application of the 9th and 10th events are at the  development stage, and after a quick appeal and approval, starting  next week, these programs will also take effect.

During the exchange of views, mechanisms for implementing investment  programs in partnership between the state and the private sector, as  well as issues related to the risk assessment tool, as well as  prospects for the development of capital markets, were discussed. The  Prime Minister noted that in this situation, measures should be  considered to promote investment policies to ensure long-term  results. , said Pashinyan. The Prime  Minister instructed to amend the draft taking into account the  proposals, and submit them for discussion.  The discussion also  focused on ideas aimed at improving the management of state property.
