ArmInfo. In the context of the spread of the pandemic and the state of emergency declared in the country, the SRC revealed violations in the behavior of a number of economic entities.
According to the press service of the SRC, as a result of regular monitoring, and the analysis and control tools applied by the relevant SRC authorities, it was revealed that certain taxpayers are trying to fraudulently become beneficiaries of one or another package of anti-crisis measures developed by the government to eliminate economic and social consequences of coronavirus. According to the report, the taxpayers deliberately declare their tax liabilities in the reports submitted to the State Revenue Committee.
In this regard, Chairman of the SRC, David Ananyan, addressed the taxpayers with the following statement: <I assure you that the tools available to the SRC are more than enough to detect such violations and apply liability measures. Let me remind you that, in spite of the created difficult situation, the SRC continues to operate daily in normal mode, carrying out tax and customs checks>. At the same time, the head of the SRC called on taxpayers, as before, to observe good faith. As Ananyan noted, the Committee, wishing to maintain close cooperation and trust with taxpayers, expresses its willingness make concessions for them, subject to independent and correct declaration of tax obligations, by concluding schedules for paying off obligations. In these cases, the SRC will not apply the foreclosure proceedings, but will use other instruments provided for by law.
