Armenian insurance sector reduced tax payments to the state budget by  15.6% in the first quarter of 2020

ArmInfo. In the first quarter of 2020, the insurance sector of Armenia reduced tax payments to the state budget by 15.6% to 534.7 million drams, of which 445.2 million  drams were paid out of direct taxes (including income tax and income  tax).

According to the RA State Revenue Committee, 5 out of 6 insurance  companies operating in the market were included in the list of 1000  largest taxpayers of Armenia for the reporting period.  Among the  market participants, Rosgosstrakh Armenia IC holds the lead in tax  payments, taking the 163rd place (versus the 169th in the 1st quarter  of 2019), paying 266.8 million drams to the state budget, of which  207.6 million drams are income tax and income tax.

"INGO Armenia" IC took 319th place in this list (against the 236th  one year earlier), replenishing the state budget by 131.5 million  drams, of which 123.1 million drams are income tax and income tax.

NairiInnsurans IC took the 610th position (against the 472nd year  earlier), transferring 56.9 million drams to the state treasury,  incl. 46.4 mln drams - income tax and income tax.

Further follows SC "Sil Insurance" - 892 place (against 799 a year  earlier), having paid 41.5 million drams, of which 35.1 million drams  - for income tax.

"Armenia Insurance" IC - 966th place (versus 713 a year earlier),  having paid 38 million drams, of which 33 million - on income tax and  income tax.

In the 1st quarter of 2020, RESO IC was not included in the list of  the largest taxpayers of Armenia, whereas a year earlier in the same  period the company took 532 place (versus 492 a year earlier), having  paid 69 million drams, of which 55.4 million drams income tax and  income tax.

It should be noted that for the first quarter of 2019, the deductions  of the insurance sector of Armenia to the state budget from taxes  amounted to 633.9 million drams, of which 542.3 million drams  accounted for direct taxes. At that time, the leadership was held by  Rosgosstrakh Armenia IC, after which INGO Armenia IC, Nairi Insurance  IC, RESO IC, Armenia Insurance IC and Sil Insurance were located
