Due to  the facts of violations during registration of land sublease,  the damage exceeded 246 million drams

ArmInfo. 35 criminal cases on violations and abuses during the execution of land sublease to telecommunication operators were instituted and accepted into  production.

 As previously reported, the leaders of a number of  communities of the regions of the republic leased land owned by state  or community property to their relatives or subordinates for a  nominal rent, much lower than the market. To this end, in some cases,  fictitious tenders were organized. Further, land plots were subleased  at a cost that exceeded 200-300 times the aforementioned symbolic  fee, due to which large profits were made from the heads of  communities for personal use.

According to the Investigative Committee, the total damage exceeds  246 million drams, of which over 74.1 million drams were recovered  during the preliminary investigation.

In particular, in eight criminal cases instituted in Shirak region,  the total damage amounts to 71.6 million drams, of which 2 million  drams were recovered; in the Lori region, in three criminal cases,  14.4 million drams were recovered from damage of 58.7 million drams;  in Tavush oblast, in three criminal cases of the region, from the  damage of 7.2 million drams 1.2 million drams were restored; the  damage in the criminal case in the region of Aragatsotn in the amount  of 7.5 million drams was completely repaired; in the Ararat region,  in three criminal cases out of 20.9 million drams, 5.4 million drams  were restored; in the Kotayk region, in two criminal cases out of  18.8 million drams, 5.5 million drams were restored; in the  Gegharkunik region, in three criminal cases out of 13.5 million  drams, 7 million drams were restored; in Syunik region, 12.9 out of  47.3 million drams were restored in 30 criminal cases.
