ArmInfo. The final report of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on the aviation sector of Armenia will be presented in late May. This was announced after a meeting of the European Security Group with the participation of representatives of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Armenia (CAC), as well as a number of airlines, which took place on May 12 online and lasted 6 hours.
Due to the fact that EASA limited the rights of two Armenian airlines to fly to Europe (except for the evacuation of citizens and flights for humanitarian and medical purposes), the CAC urged the latter to reconsider this decision, thereby allowing airlines to provide additional evidence confirming the level of safety flights.
According to the CAC Facebook report, during the meeting, the CAC comprehensively presented the RA flight safety situation, significant changes made, concrete steps taken after the hearings in November last year, as well as further actions in the short, medium and long term.
