18th program to mitigate  economic consequences of COVID-19 pandemic  submitted to RA government

ArmInfo. The 18th program to  mitigate the economic consequences of the COVID-19 epidemic has been  submitted to the Armenian government. This was announced on May 14 at  a cabinet meeting by head of the Armenian government Nikol Pashinyan.

As he mentioned, according to the program, those companies that have  saved jobs and the salary fund since the start of the coronavirus  pandemic would be able to crely on government assistance. We are  talking about companies with 100 or more employees. The state in the  form of a grant will finance the salaries of every fifth employee.  Thus, as Nikol Pashinyan noted, the state will appreciate the work of  employers. The Prime Minister also said that as of today, 76 billion  drams have been allocated within the framework of already approved  programs. 26 thousand legal entities and 1.1 million individuals have  benefited from the assistance. The banking system of the country,  which announced a loan holidays for 460 thousand individuals and 15.5  thousand legal entities, should not have stood aloof from all of  this. For this reason, as Nikol Pashinyan noted, there are no  administrative proceedings.
